Photography Internship

Job Title: Photography Intern

Location: Baltimore, MD

Responsibilities:  

  • Assist Team Photographer with daily tasks such as fulfilling photo requests and downloading/editing photographs.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the archive throughout the season.
  • Must be able to take direction, accept constructive feedback, judge photography, and photograph Baltimore Orioles events.
  • Must manage workload and multiple deadlines and be able to take direction from various members in a team environment.
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends, as the job requires long hours.

Education & Qualifications:  

  • Coursework toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography or Graphic Arts.
    • Completed 2 years of coursework in photography program.
  • Must know Mac OS X, Adobe Suite and Photo Mechanic or similar program.
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects.
  • Ability is important, but so are a positive attitude, enthusiasm and a desire to continually learn every day.

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $15/hour.  

 

Benefits include concession and merchandise discounts, free parking, and limited complimentary baseball tickets to home games. A 401(k) plan with discretionary employer match available after one year of service and 1,000 hours is also available.
