Medical Laboratory Scientist II NYQ at ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City:  Requires Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or in the chemical or biological sciences; and ASCP or AAB certification as MLS or MT. In the Molecular Integrated Diagnostics Laboratory, the Medical Laboratory Scientist II NYQ will perform testing for viral and bacterial pathogens using automated and semi-automated molecular based instrumentation; will prepare specimens for testing, perform sample loading, evaluate quality controls, document control values, and verify results through in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments; will interpret data based on knowledge of multiple factors affecting test results.
