SMT Production Engineering Intern

 Job Summary: As part of the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Production Engineering (PE) Team, you will play a pivotal role in developing essential process documentation to ensure the success of our manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the creation/completion of Gage R&R studies, Process Condition Sheets, and Process Trial Reports. Additionally, you will contribute to the execution and data collection for new machine setup Design of Experiments (DOEs), helping to optimize our manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the PE Team to develop comprehensive process documentation for the new SMT equipment including Gage R&R studies, Process Condition Sheets, and Process Trial Reports. 
• Participate in the planning and execution of Design of Experiments (DOEs) for new machine setups, including data collection and analysis. 
• Contribute to the development of standardized work instructions and training materials for manufacturing personnel. 
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of activities and outcomes. 

Education

Working towards a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering at an accredited university is required; Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering preferred.
