General Purpose:
The Clinical Research Technician role will recruit study participants and collect biological samples.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify eligible patients on the Labor and Delivery L&D for research studies via the Electronic Medical Record EMR systems.
- Enroll participants into eligible research studies.
- Collect bio-specimens for various research studies.
- Ensure quality sample collection and processing.
- Enter screening information into Redcap Database.
- Adhere to Institutional Review Board IRB regulations and protocols.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with patients, providers, and staff.
- Organize work duties and record data by utilizing Microsoft Office suite - Outlook, Excel, Word, and medical/research systems.

Education/Experience:
- enrolled as a student at IU Indianapolis
- Preferred Majors: Biology, Medicine, Physical/Occupational, Therapy, Public Health, Healthcare, Technology and Technician
- Experience in research, data analysis is preferred
