
Legislative Attorney
The Division of Research for the Missouri Senate is seeking an attorney in a nonpartisan, fast-paced, multi-faceted legislative environment. The successful applicant will draft legislation, staff committees of the Senate, prepare legal opinions, analyze legislative proposals, and develop policy alternatives. Position requires excellent writing and oral communication skills. Experience in legal or legislative field important. Law degree required. Salary is $70,000, with opportunity for merit-based raises. The position may qualify individuals for the provisions of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, and qualifies for state benefits.
