Financial Reporting Intern

Getting to Know the Opportunity:

The accounting student will have the opportunity to work in the financial reporting division of a Fortune 500 corporation. Please Note: Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE! This position allows 100% remote work from home or allows work to be performed in any of our major office locations with a hybrid schedule. 

The Contributions You’ll Make:

Responsibilities to include:

•Assist with the preparation of various accounting entries and financial reports

•Interact with other functional departments to ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of the financial information

•Develop and utilize various analytical reports to assist with the understanding and validation of financial information

•Coordinate, conduct and document work papers of financial reporting activities

•Assist with various projects as assigned by supervisor

•Serves as a key team member that meets the ultimate objectives of the team, department, and organization

•Other duties as assigned

Preferred Education & Experience:

•Pursuing a bachelor’s or post-graduate degree in accounting

•Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office

•Minimum 3.0 GPA requirement

•Strong work ethic and organizational skills
