Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Support the retail and customer service team in handling client interactions, sales, and day-to-day operations.
  • Business communication and customer engagement.
  • Exposure to sales processes and inventory management.
  • Understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Greeting and assisting walk-in customers.
  • Learning about pricing and inventory systems.
  • Supporting sales and marketing initiatives

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass an FBI Background Check as a prerequisite for handling sensitive customer data and ensuring trustworthiness.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, specifically from 12 PM to 8 PM on weekdays, to align with operational hours.
  • Must maintain a drug-free status, ensuring professionalism and compliance with workplace policies.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Technical knowledge or a willingness to learn about computer systems, repairs, and IT services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
