Summer Internship

As a Fugro Intern, you'll get hands-on experience in Offshore and/or Land Geotechnical, Surveying, Geophysical/Geological, Geospatial, Innovation, and Engineering within our Site Characterization, Asset Integrity, or Innovation business lines. You'll apply the technical skills you've learned in college through on-the-job assignments, developing both technically and professionally. Each intern will have a technical mentor and supervisor to ensure a productive and engaging experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead by example in prioritizing Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection.
  • Assist project professionals with field exploration, lab testing, and analysis.
  • Perform work assignments to develop professional knowledge and abilities using standard techniques and procedures.
  • Work on acquiring, analyzing, and interpreting geo-related data.
  • Partner with management and supervisors to identify your learning and development needs.
  • Comply with QMS and HSE requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Geotechnical Engineering, Geophysics, Marine Technology, Geology, Computer Science, Oceanography (Physical), Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Current college level: Sophomore through Senior or Graduate Student.
  • Expected graduation date: Spring 2025 through Spring/Fall 2027.
  • Minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Available for at least 10 continuous weeks during the internship.
