Marketing Intern

NFPA Global Solutions (NGS) was established in March 2024 to advance fire, life, and electrical safety on a global scale by offering compliance solutions, digital products, and advisory services to help businesses and governments mitigate risks, enhance safety, and drive operational efficiency. NGS is wholly owned by the National Fire Protection Association, which was established in 1896 dedicated to the elimination of death, injury, property and economic loss due to fire, electrical and related hazards. 

 

The Marketing Intern with report to and work collaboratively with the Growth Marketing Leader. They will gain hands on marketing experience in a growth-oriented startup. They will work within all areas of marketing including social media, PPC, SEO, trade show and event planning, creative, branding, sales support and more. The ideal candidate has a creative mindset and is eager to learn and grow. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on marketing plans for business services and acquisitions.
  • Support the content creation, management and reporting of social media channels.
  • Assist with planning and execution of trade shows and events.
  • Create various digital and print marketing materials.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of digital ads.
  • Work with publishers to manage ad placements and monitor performance.
  • Analyze website performance and assist with site maintenance.
  • Research industry trends, technologies and competition.
  • Manage marketing operations to ensure timely execution of various initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams internally and externally to achieve overall success of tasks and projects.

Requirements

  • Graduating senior with a marketing related degree (graduate or undergraduate)
  • Must have prior relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 20 hours/week
  • Adobe Photoshop preferred
  • Must be comfortable with remote work
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work eastern time zone business hours
