Data Science Internship (Jan-May)
We are looking for Data Science (or similar) undergrad or graduate students to help us build data and analytic pipelines and AI/ML to create insightful applications and/or dashboards across a variety of geospatial use cases. You will work closely with data scientists and developers to learn the capabilities of the platform and have your work reviewed by them.
MapLarge is a US-based software company whose geospatial products keep the world moving safely and support enterprises with large and mission-critical global operations. Our platform provides real- time geospatial analytics for billions of daily events and trillions of historical events. Analysts use our geospatial visualization capabilities to visualize and publish dashboards for data discovery and model testing on desktops, mobile or tablet devices.
This is a remote position, so all communication with your team will occur via chat, phone, email, or video conference. Your manager and fellow developers will be available during a traditional work week (M-F, 9am-5pm Eastern Time). However, you are welcome to perform your work according to your own schedule, as long as you can be available for occasional planning and synchronization meetings.
