Digital Technology Intern

We are seeking a Digital Technology Intern with a strong interest in data and AI to join our innovative team. In this role, you’ll work closely with both technical and business teams to support the development of data and AI-driven solutions that enhance decision-making across the organization. This internship offers hands-on experience in data engineering and business intelligence, bridging the gap between technology and business objectives.
 

Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing and maintaining data pipelines and architecture to support both batch and real-time data processing.
• Help implement data integration solutions within Microsoft Azure, consolidating data from diverse sources such as ERP systems, sales platforms, and CRM systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and help translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Support data-driven decision-making by analyzing data and providing insights to inform business strategies.
• Contribute to the development and deployment of machine learning models, focusing on areas such as predictive analytics and anomaly detection.
• Work with the team to apply AI techniques to improve business processes, utilizing tools like Azure Open AI and cognitive services.
• Assist in developing and managing data models, databases, and schemas to support analytics and AI-driven insights.
• Ensure data quality, security, and consistency across all data sources.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to create dashboards and visualizations that turn data into actionable insights.
• Support the development of AI-powered reports and visualizations to enhance strategic planning.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and apply automation solutions.
• Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in data engineering, AI, and digital transformation.


Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data processing and model development.
• Experience with SQL and familiarity with both relational (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
• Basic knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS being a plus.
Business & Analytical Skills:
• Understanding of business processes in areas such as supply chain, sales, or manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and analyze data to derive insights.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Soft Skills:
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and development.
