Role Description

This is a fully remote Marketing Internship role in partnership with Techsalerator for the new brand, DolFin. This is an independent internship position requiring only a few hours per week, providing an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to gain experience in social media marketing and brand development.

As a DolFin Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for creating and managing social media channels, developing engaging content, and growing DolFin's online presence. 

What you'll be doing

  • Create and develop social media channels for DolFin.
  • Craft and schedule posts to engage DolFin's target audience and grow each channel.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for social media growth.
  • Engage with audiences on Quora, Reddit, and other relevant forums to promote brand awareness.
  • Analyze channel growth, audience engagement, and other key metrics to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with brand goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the marketing manager or supervisor.

Education and Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Must have a positive, creative, and proactive attitude toward social media marketing.
  • Must be able to work remotely.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.

This role provides a valuable chance to build hands-on marketing skills, develop a brand, and gain experience in managing social media channels for a new, growing brand.

Total Compensation

The compensation for this position is based solely in school credits, offering a total of (3) credits per semester. This role offers exciting opportunities for potential growth within the company and the field.

 

Abilities and Other Requirements

In order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job the employee must be able to verbally communicate with employees, co-workers and customers online and by phone.
