Production Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an organized, hard-working and self-driven Manufacturing and Production Manager to join our team. As Manufacturing and Production Manager, you will oversee the entire production process to ensure that production targets are met efficiently and on time. You will manage production flow, material control, production quality, and order delivery. You will work closely with multiple departments to ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently, meeting customer demands and company objectives.
Responsibilities
Production Planning
- Develop detailed production plans based on customer orders, ensuring timely, quality, and quantity completion of production tasks.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain production data used to generate production performance reports.
Materials Management
- Collaborate with the materials and warehousing department to plan and track material usage, ensuring a smooth and efficient supply chain.
Order Documentation
- Review and update order documentation for tracking and auditing purposes.
Quality Tracking and Improvement
- Monitor the quality status of orders, collect feedback from sales and technical support departments to continuously improve production processes and methods.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet company and customer quality standards.
Bill of Materials (BOM) Management
- Work with the engineering department to update product BOMs.
- Ensure the completeness and consistency of BOMs, reducing production errors and material waste.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of production management experience, preferably with a background in the electronics industry.
- Familiarity with production planning, material management, and quality control processes.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using production management software and office software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic component types and packaging.
- Familiarity with PCB assembly processes.
- Bilingual for English and Mandarin.
