Social Media/Marketing Intern (Summer 2025) Downtown Sioux Falls Inc.

Overview: 

The Downtown Sioux Falls Inc. Marketing Internship Program offers hands-on, practical experience in various aspects of marketing and creative production. We’re looking for three dedicated interns to join our team, each specializing in a different area: Graphic Design/Website, Social Media/Marketing, and Photo/Video Production. Interns will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team to bring exciting campaigns to life and will report directly to the Marketing Director. 

Internship Position: Social Media/Marketing Intern 

● Responsibilities: 

○ Develop, schedule, and post content across social media platforms. 

○ Monitor engagement, respond to community interactions, and track social media analytics. 

○ Collaborate on developing creative campaign ideas that align with brand initiatives. 

● Qualifications: 

○ Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends. 

○ Excellent writing and communication skills. 

○ Knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus. Internship Details: 

● Location: DTSF office, with opportunities to work on-site at various DTSF events. 

● Hours: 10-15 hours per week. 

● Pay Rate: $15 per hour. 

● Duration: Semester-based, with opportunities to extend.
