This position is located in the Huntington, WV, Planning, Programs, and Project Management Division - Controls & Analytics Section.

  • Pathways Internship positions provide for development and training. Assignments become more responsible as incumbent increases knowledge and skills through work experience and academic training. At the full-performance level, you will be expected to:
  • Performs duties which are designed to provide orientation in the application of extensive but basic academic theories and principles of computer science work.
  • Provide experience in the application of the principles, techniques and concepts in accordance with program policies specific to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) program areas.
  • Assists higher graded professionals on various aspects of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), photogrammetry, mapping, and computers to plan, coordinate, and accomplish mapping.
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tasks necessary to support a variety of projects in the areas of planning, engineering, construction, operation and maintenance
