STCD CMAQ Program Intern

Under the supervision of TAS staff, the intern will assist in the development of tools and methodologies (known as Quantification Methodologies or QMs) for various Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality  (CMAQ) program as part of the ongoing effort to update the "Methods to Find the Cost-Effectiveness of Funding Air Quality Projects" and the greater CMAQ program as a whole. Tasks include:
Analyzing and evaluating technical documents and equations from various sources.
Developing Excel-based computational tools.
Drafting complementary documentation for QMs.

The ideal candidate should have some background in transportation planning, a strong grasp of basic mathematics and literature comprehension, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suites.
