AQPSD Student Intern

Under close supervision of the section manager, the staff is responsible for performing model assessment. This requires performing research, data analysis, code logic quality check. The student intern is also required to assist other staff in the section in improving the quality of EMFAC codes. Specific tasks include converting EMFAC’s HD activity module from SQL into a python module, and conducting quality assurance and control checks on the translated HD activity module. Additionally, the candidate will assist in conducting quality assurance and control checks on EMFAC model outputs, providing feedback to help debug the current developing EMFAC. Ideal Candidates will have good coding capacity in both Python and SQL.
