Intern-Management Consulting (i.e. Journalism/Film/Finance/Video-Graphic Design)-(Hybrid or Remote)

Young, innovative, next generation professional services and consulting firm seeks individuals for its’ unpaid internship program. Cowan Consulting, LC is dedicated to solving the everyday problems of individuals and businesses. We are currently looking for new talent in our four business segments and ancillary sub-groups below: 1) E-Business (i.e. Film/Graphic-Video-Web Design etc.) 2) Information Technology 3) Litigation Support 4) Business Development (i.e. financial modeling, client acquisition/development etc.)

This challenging position provides unique exposure to the business world and builds essential skills for the future. Your responsibilities will include planning projects with our senior consultants, consultants, and/or clients in a team-oriented environment. You will learn to play an integral role in the development of project materials, serve as a source of information for project team members, and be held accountable for project deadlines, standards, and quality.

Multi-tasking will be a constant at Cowan Consulting, LC, as we all wear multiple hats simultaneously. This position is ideal for students who are adept at dealing with people, comfortable presenting in front of groups, eager to learn and challenge him/herself, and is looking to gain experience in one of the following business segments:  Journalism, Film, Finance, Video-Graphic Design, E-Business, Law, Real Estate, Business Development, Web/Application Development-Design, Information Technology, Finance, Architectural/Interior Digital Design etc..

Strong writing and communication skills, a high energy level, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment are required. Preffered skills in one or more of the following (or similar software) include, but are not limited to the following: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, Maya, Blender, Adobe Premiere, Canva, AI, WordPress, Figma, Excel (Financial Modeling) etc. You need to be willing to work hard and to learn the aforementioned skills and more. Project work will range from the detailed to the conceptual and interns will rotate their learning in the aforementioned business segments. You may learn and/or enhance many of the aforementioned skills and more during the subject internship. 

Qualified students are required to be enrolled in a full-time or part-time accredited academic program during the internship period. Students must be able to earn academic course credit upon successful completion of the internship. It is the student's responsibility to seek possible credit for this internship. Internships typically coincide with the the start and end dates of an intern's school semester. Minimum 16 hours per week required to work under the supervision of expert mentor(s) who have decades of experience on projects germane to the firm's and/or student's interests. 

The internship is unpaid (academic credit only) and employment is not promised or guaranteed upon completion of the externship. Check with your school's Internship Coordinator BEFORE accepting the hiring offer to determine if this position satisfies the criteria for receiving academic credit.All relevant majors and/or those with applicable skills are welcome to apply.
