Internship

Looking for a Human Services Internship in Westmoreland County?

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young individuals? Adelphoi has two internship pathways in our Residential program available to students.

Paid Internship:

Must be at least 21 years of age
Agency-provided clearances and pre-employment physical
Agency-provided, two-week paid training before working directly with youth
Scheduled shifts for unit may include day, afternoon, and weekend but will be in accommodation with class schedules
Compensation: $15.50/hr

Unpaid internship:

Can be younger than 21, but must be at least 18 years of age
Volunteer clearances can be accepted
Some required regulatory trainings, but no mandatory two-week paid training
Schedule varies based on unit

We’re conveniently located in Latrobe, close to Greensburg, Ligonier, Mount Pleasant and other surrounding areas.

At our group homes, we prioritize treatment plans that yield exceptional results for youth. You'll have the chance to learn our approach, contribute to meaningful solutions, and position yourself for growth and advancement in the counseling and juvenile justice fields.
