Maritz is gearing up to deliver one of the largest event series in the U.S. for a Fortune 500 financial services client. We’re seeking 35+ full-time, temporary team members to join us in making these events a success. This is your chance to work with a leader in the event management industry and take your passion for collaboration and helping people to the next level.
As a Meeting Attendee Coordinator, you’ll provide outstanding customer service through phone and email, assist with event logistics, and manage key details like hotel rooming lists, activity registration, and reporting. This full-time temporary role (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST) runs for approximately four months starting February 28, 2025. Top performers may be considered for permanent opportunities upon project completion.
Location
Hybrid: Based primarily out of our Fenton, MO office.
Virtual candidates outside the St. Louis area will also be considered.
What You’ll Do
Customer Service (40%)
Communicate travel itineraries, hotel confirmations, and policies via phone and email.
Update guest registrations and hotel room inventory in our system.
Collaborate with Meeting Event Managers, clients, and suppliers.
Program Management (40%)
Monitor client email inboxes and handle guest lists within service level agreements (SLAs).
Secure hotel extensions, review registration websites, and ensure report accuracy.
Support client-specific processes and accounting functions.
Problem-Solving & Special Projects (20%)
Resolve customer inquiries, such as billing questions or hotel no-shows.
Attend training sessions and contribute to team meetings.
Take on special assignments, including on-site program support as needed.
What You’ll Bring
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., Hospitality, Event Management, or customer-facing roles).
Skills: Exceptional communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and aptitude for learning new technologies. Excel skills required.
Mindset: A passion for delivering great customer experiences in a dynamic environment.
