SIP 2025 - Programs Manager (Off Campus) at Warrensville Road Community Based Center of Life

Warrensville Road Community Based Center of Life is a 501(c3) non-profit established in November 2006. It is a collaborative community partner with the Warrensville Road Community Baptist Church. Working with community partners, the Warrensville Road Community Based Center of Life has assisted in meeting social and human services needs facing the communities in and surrounding Cuyahoga County.

Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Bridge To Freedom School program director with development and implementation of a 6-week summer program curriculum to include: a reading curriculum, arts, field trips, community service and career exposure for youth ages 5-18
  • Coordinate and schedule program volunteers and partner organizations
  • Create and maintain program tracking databases (i.e. attendance, testing scores, volunteer hours, participant files)
  • Coordinate family and volunteer orientations, events and participation 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with youth ages 5-18
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point)
  • Interest in and ability to work as part of an intergenerational team
  • Strong appreciation and understanding of individual cultural diversity and the willingness to be open and respectful of all cultures
  • Ability to think critically and analytically
  • Exhibit positive behavior and attitude; model a mature and professional demeanor; possess excellent written and verbal skills

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
