We are currently seeking an experienced Microbiologist to join our team and support our commitment to quality and safety.

 

Position Overview:
The Microbiologist will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through microbiological testing and analysis. This individual will be responsible for conducting routine and non-routine microbiological testing, ensuring compliance with FDA and EPA regulations, and working closely with the quality assurance and production teams to meet the standards for personal care products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA and EPA guidelines, particularly for OTC hygiene products.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and maintain microbiological laboratory equipment.
  • Analyze and interpret data, documenting findings accurately for regulatory and internal reporting.
  • Assist in developing and validating microbiological methods and procedures.
  • Investigate microbiological deviations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance and Regulatory, to meet product safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with FDA and EPA regulations is required.
  • Previous experience working with personal care products or consumer goods in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of microbiological testing methods and laboratory safety protocols.
  • Experience with environmental monitoring and contamination control.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
