Internships 2025 Summer Intern Program

Reclamation’s Missouri Basin Region is looking to hire motivated, hardworking, resourceful interns this summer across the region.

The Missouri Basin and Arkansas-Rio Grande-Texas Gulf Region encompasses all or parts of nine states including Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. 

The program includes: 

• A 12-week paid summer internship 

• Field work at Reclamation facilities 

• Weekly professional development series 

• Field trips to local dams 

• Capstone poster symposium The mission of the Bureau of Reclamation is to manage, develop, and protect water and related resources in an environmentally and economically sound manner in the interest of the American public.
