The Montessori Lab School at Grand Center - After Care Attendant

A Montessori Lab School Aftercare Attendant supports the school’s mission by providing a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children during after-school hours. This role ensures the care and well-being of students while fostering independence and respect in alignment with Montessori principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Available Monday through Friday, 3:30-6. Candidates can choose available days.
Child Supervision: Monitor and engage with children during aftercare, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Activity Planning: Plan and facilitate age-appropriate, Montessori-aligned activities, including arts, crafts, outdoor play, and quiet time.

Guidance and Support: Foster independence and respect for others by encouraging children to make choices and resolve conflicts peacefully.

Environment Preparation: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting aftercare environment, ensuring materials are available and aligned with Montessori principles.

Snack Distribution: Prepare and distribute snacks, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are respected.
