Position Summary:
Urban Hope Indy is seeking an organized and proactive Case Manager Intern to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and supporting the relationships between mentors and mentees. You will administer applications, assist with onboarding processes, and track engagement activities to ensure our mentorship program operates effectively and achieves its goals.

This internship is ideal for individuals passionate about working with communities, youth empowerment, and program coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process mentee and mentor applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new mentors and mentees, including scheduling orientations and maintaining communication.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for mentors and mentees, facilitating smooth and effective communication.
  • Collect, track, and organize engagement activity reports submitted by mentors and staff.
  • Update and maintain program records in the organization’s database.
  • Provide administrative support for case management tasks and program-related projects.
  • Collaborate with staff to enhance the mentorship experience through thoughtful program improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Experience with databases or tracking systems is a plus.
  • Passion for Urban Hope Indy’s mission and a desire to contribute to meaningful community work.
