Position Summary:
Urban Hope Indy is seeking a creative and motivated Videographer Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact by producing photo and video content that showcases our programs, highlights our community initiatives, and tells the powerful stories of the youth and families we serve.

The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through visuals, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to assist in creating compelling marketing assets that amplify our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos during events and program operations.
  • Assist in planning and filming content that aligns with Urban Hope Indy’s mission and values.
  • Edit photos and videos to create polished, professional content for use across multiple platforms (social media, website, promotional materials, etc.).
  • Collaborate with staff to brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns and storytelling.
  • Organize and maintain a library of photo and video assets.
  • Support the development of marketing materials by contributing to the design and content strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Film, Photography, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
  • Strong eye for detail, creativity, and storytelling.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Access to personal photography and videography equipment.
  • Passion for Urban Hope Indy’s mission and a desire to make a difference in the community.
