Civil Engineering Intern

We are seeking driven and resourceful individuals to join our 2025 Kickstart Internship Program in 2025!

As an intern, you’ll work alongside project teams focused on civil engineering solutions, including site development, infrastructure design, and public works projects. You will contribute to significant projects throughout the United States, including tasks such as roadway design, stormwater management, and preparing construction documents for a variety of infrastructure projects.

A Day in the Life of a Civil Engineering Intern:

  • Working on diverse civil engineering projects that allow you to apply the principles and skills you’ve learned in school
  • Supporting site design, roadway planning, and infrastructure development efforts
  • Contributing to civil plans, reports, and specifications for construction projects
  • Participating in project management and coordinating with team members and clients
  • Attending and contributing to client and project meetings
  • Conducting field work and site assessments
  • Receiving mentorship from experienced civil engineers
  • Networking with employees, engineers, and clients

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Environmental Engineering
    • Drafting / 3D Design
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Completion of one year of relevant study

Pay rate for this position is anticipated to be $20 to $25 per hour, and may vary based on education, experience, qualifications, skills, licensure/certifications, seniority, geographic location, and performance.

Benefits Summary: This internship offers medical insurance for eligible interns, but traditional employee benefits such as comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, and other perks are not included. However, we offer the opportunity for interns to participate in our 401(k) plan, helping them start planning for their financial future.
