Civil Engineering Technician 1

This employee performs entry-level technical work within an engineering unit of the city; assignments include tracing and simple drafting, plan reproduction, information research, and/or field work concentrated in assisting in surveying equipment set up, using a survey rod, and taking routine survey measurements under close direction; assignments may vary to meet the seasonal requirements of the unit; may be assigned work of routine difficulty or to assist higher Technicians on work of greater complexity. Performs related duties as required.
