What You Will Do

For this position, we are looking for an ambitious and talented Software Engineering Intern to join us for the summer. You’ll work with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) to develop new features, improve performance, and deploy applications that help job seekers and recruiters connect efficiently. This internship provides a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with both frontend and backend technologies. 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and experience with React for frontend and Node.js / Express for backend.
  • Basic knowledge of MongoDB and general database management.
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git, GitHub).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • At least one year of higher education coursework (post high school graduation) must be completed.
  • Available to work part-time for a minimum of 10 weeks.
  • Must have strong verbal, communication, and written skills in English.
  • Competent with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to work remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with full-stack personal or academic projects using the MERN stack.
  • Exposure to cloud computing and deployment practices.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Willingness to learn cloud deployment.
  • Passionate and optimistic about a future that involves AI.
  • Enthusiastic about helping others excel and pursue their aspirations with confidence.
  • Familiarity with Offerday AI's tools and products.

 

Compensation

The compensation for this internship will be between $19.00 and $25.00 hourly depending on experience.
