SIP 2025 - Westshore Pantry Assistant (Westshore Campus) at Tri-C Westshore Pantry

The Student Life Office provides programs and activities that promote learning and development both outside and alongside classroom learning. Opportunities include leadership trainings and certifications, numerous student clubs and organizations, and special events and activities on each campus. 

Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.

The Pantry Assistant will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the campus pantry, including but not limited to:

  • Customer support and service
  • Stocking shelves, unloading deliveries 
  • Assisting with order placement from the Greater Cleveland Foodbank and Aldi
  • Development of two nutrition focused programs for the summer and fall semester
  • Developing internal marketing, updating flyers, shelf labels, other posters
  • Learn about the Greater Cleveland Foodbank services and impact
  • Attend staff meetings throughout the summer

Summer coverage is needed Thursdays (non-holidays) from 10:00am-2:00pm, other work shifts during the week are negotiable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong time management
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, self-motivated
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Strong writing skills
  • Experience with Canva, or ability to learn quickly

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
