Summary
This position is in Region 4, Land, Chemicals, and Redevelopment Division, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Programs & Cleanup Branch, RCRA Corrective Action Section. About: Region 4.
This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

Duties
At the entry level of this position, you will:
- Perform technical activities for Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) corrective actions, coal combustible residuals (CCR), and remediation.
- Visit work sites to observe areas that involve RCRA corrective action cleanup and CCR impoundments.
- Assist in the review of contractual work efforts in cases where EPA must support state requests or conduct environmental sampling to ensure contractors are utilized effectively and efficiently.
- Participate in community relations activities to support senior scientists and engineers.

You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
