Position - Summer Marketing Intern at Hull’s Drive-In

- Duration: June 9, 2025 - July 25, 2025 (7 weeks)
- Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week

Internship Overview
As a Summer Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in helping Hull’s Drive-In enhance its community engagement and volunteer recruitment efforts. You will work closely with a member of Hull’s board to design and produce dynamic marketing materials aimed at attracting potential visitors to the Drive-In and volunteers who assist with movie nights at the concession stand and ticket booth. Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating an Informational Video: Produce a compelling video that showcases a typical night for volunteers, highlighting roles and responsibilities. This will be featured on Hull’s website and shared with prospective volunteers.
- Designing Promotional Materials: Design eye-catching posters for special events and volunteer recruitment.
- Social Media Engagement: Develop and curate weekly social media posts to promote events and encourage community involvement.
Qualifications
- Essential Skills: Proficiency in Canva, YouTube, Google Suite, and Meta Suite.
- Desired Skills: Experience with videography (using a phone or camera), video editing, and content creation.
Internship Structure
This internship is part of the Office of Community-Based Learning’s (CBL) internship program. As an intern, you will receive ongoing support from CBL staff and your on-site supervisor. You will also participate in weekly cohort meetings for training and reflection.
Although this is an unpaid internship, studentsare encouraged to apply for summer funding through Career and Professional Development Office (applications typically due winter term) and the Johnson Opportunity Grant (applications due January or March). Please note that funding is limited and not guaranteed. This internship qualifies for EXP credit (CPD 451) through the CPD office.
