Summer Corporate Communications Intern

Overview

This is a support role to assist Ebara Elliott Energy (EEE) professionals in our U.S. global headquarters location in Jeannette, PA. Students will receive “hands-on" experience in the Corporate Communications department in the rotating equipment industry. 

 

At EEE, we design, build, refurbish and re-engineer products used by some of the largest companies in the world. EEE manufactures steam turbines, centrifugal and axial compressors, cryogenic pumps and expanders, power recovery expanders and gas expanders for use in energy markets worldwide.

 

All internships will consist of the following elements:

  • Individual projects to own and complete for real world hands-on experience;
  • Team project and activities designed to demonstrate cooperation;
  • Exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of EEE leadership including participation in company and customer meetings and job shadowing.

 

The Summer Corporate Communications Intern will lead the following projects:

  • Digitize historical documents, photos, and artifacts to preserve EEE's legacy in a digital format;
  • Organize and catalog these materials into a searchable digital archive for easy access;
  • Research and document key historical milestones of EEE, providing context and narrative depth to the archive;
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to identify and craft compelling stories for marketing and branding;
  • Enhance stakeholder engagement by using the archive to showcase EEE's resilience, adaptability, and innovation.

Preferred candidate: Major in Information Science, History, Library Science, or Digital Media completing minimum of freshman year of a Bachelor’s Degree. Full time student pursuing a Science, History, Library Science, or Digital Media Master’s Degree is encouraged to apply.

 

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

 

This internship will be based at the EEE headquarters in Jeannette, PA. Candidates must be able to commute to our Jeannette, PA headquarters Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. for up to twelve weeks.
