Camp Maintenance and Groundskeeping

Camp Merri-Mac for Girls is christian summer camp for children ages 6 - 16, located high up in the mountains of North Carolina. Girls come to camp to have fun and we believe the happiest environment is one in which the love of God is demonstrated by the staff and felt by all. We are often asked what makes camp so special. No one expects a simple answer, which is good, because there really isn’t one. The best we can come up with is that we pay attention to details, and we’re really good at building places where girls and boys grow through friends and adventure.

Merri-Mac is in search of a young man or woman to serve on our Maintenance Team for our summer program. We are looking for someone who cares for the small details and enjoys working outside. Jobs responsibilities include: landscaping, lawn mowing, weed eating, disposal of trash, basic building maintenance, and fire building. Summer salaries start at $2,400 and bonuses are available depending on skill. Room, board and food are included as well as a day and night off a week.

| Time Commitment and Perks |

Our maintenance/landscaping staff will arrive on May 25th 2025 and depart August 10th 2025. Staff will work 6 days a week, having one day off and one evening off each week. This is a full time paid position including lodging and meals.

Applicants must display and value maturity, professionalism, positivity, grit, self motivation, and value working hard. Must be a competent worker and aware of skills, safety requirements and gear.

Must possess sound Christian character and an eagerness to work in a camp environment.
