Job Overview:
The Manager of Investigations supports their assigned Trade Area stores positively impacts the reduction of inventory shortage and controllable losses by providing leadership, expertise, and training to Trade Area Asset Protection Managers. The Manager of Investigations supports the development of the Trade Area Asset Protection Managers to become independent in all aspects of internal investigations and leaders of the Organized Retail Crime strategy, driving all investigative programs.
Essential Functions:
- Lead in the development and implementation of each store's internal investigations and Organized Retail Crime strategy. This includes working with the Asset Protection leadership of each Trade Area of responsibility to develop an internal strategy that is actionable, practical, and measurable
- Review and analyze field integrity interviews for feedback and/or training
- Responsible for managing all internal investigations and ORC case management, including the training of the Asset Protection leadership to initiate, fully investigate, and close investigations promptly
- Ability to develop investigations through exception reporting and trend analysis
Qualifications and Competencies:
- We encourage candidates with either a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply
- 5+ years related experience
- Multi-Unit Asset Protection experience preferred.
- Investigative/Interview Experience, Wicklander-Zulawski training preferred
- Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
- Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
- Knowledge of MS Office computer programs are required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
