Requirements:

Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field required.

Director of Special Education Approval from the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) or eligibility to obtain it.

Previous experience as a special education administrator in a K-12 setting

Preferred: 

Minimum of 5 years of experience in special education, including classroom teaching and administrative roles.

Salary/Benefits:

Full-time with benefit package.  Starting salary range $96,156-115,850.00.  

*The candidate hired as the Director of Special Education will lead the team in staffing the posted Assistant Director of Special Education position.
