Business Analyst

Position Overview:
The Business Analyst will work closely with the President, engaging in a broad range of strategic activities that drive the company’s growth. This role requires involvement in mergers and acquisitions, general operations, and marketing strategies, making it ideal for someone with a diverse business skill set and the ability to travel and handle multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth analysis and provide support on M&A opportunities, including due diligence, financial modeling, and market analysis.
  • Assist in the integration of operations and marketing strategies following acquisitions to ensure a cohesive company direction.
  • Domestic travel up to 50% of the time to engage with potential M&A targets, operational sites, and marketing events.
  • Develop and refine operational processes to enhance efficiency across various company departments.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to analyze market trends and support the implementation of strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the executive team to support decision-making processes in all areas of business operations.
  • Serve as a liaison between the executive management and different departments, ensuring alignment of goals and execution of strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a background in Chemistry, Natural Sciences, or Engineering is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis, with a strong understanding of financial and operational principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively presenting and explaining complex information.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with business intelligence tools.
  • Prior experience in M&A, operations, or marketing is highly desirable.
