TUBI Computational Researcher (Work Study)

Treehouse and the Vaske lab are looking to hire a Computational Researcher with a strong interest in pediatric cancer.
Job Responsibilities (100%)
Call variants in RNA-Seq data based on a protocol
View aligned reads on the UCSC Genome Browser
Use Unix shell commands to perform variant analysis
Extract read depth and alternate allele frequency from variant calling results
Required Qualifications
Strong communication skills
Highly motivated to learn new computational biology skills
