High School Coordinator

MINISTERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES


 

The position of Program Coordinator at Inner City Impact requires the employee to perform ministerial functions which are an integral part of his or her employment.  These ministerial functions include, but are not limited to, leading and/or participating in staff devotions and/or prayer, sharing the Gospel with visitors or others when called upon to do so during the work day, and communicating biblical teachings, both in oral and written form.  The employee will also be required to live on-and-off duty in accordance with Inner City Impact’s Statement of Faith, Code of Conduct and general beliefs.


 

In addition to the ministerial function required by the position of Program Coordinator, the employee must also be able to perform the following duties:


 

RESPONSIBILITIES


 

  • Develop and coordinate club program, outreach, growth programs, Bible studies and contacting/visitation efforts
  • Plan and execute social or recreational activities including monthly outings
  • Seek to develop relationships with students and parents to reach them for Christ
  • Develop and operate within approved annual budget
  • Develop a seasonal events calendar
  • Develop and monitor established departmental goals
  • Communicate clearly and work in conjunction with other departments to achieve goals
  • Supervise and develop full-time, summer and volunteer staff in assigned department and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Build relationships with 5-10 students, with the purpose of discipleship
  1. Continue these relationships as long as the kids are willing.
  2. Work to involve them in a local church
  3. Involve them in sharing their faith with others
  • Spend 5-10 hours a week visiting students
  • Lead small group Bible studies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Center Manager

QUALIFICATIONS


 

  • Exhibit a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Have the ability to clearly articulate the gospel to children
  • Must have a minimum of one year (or equivalent) of formal Bible training
  • Must be willing to live in the community to which ICI actively ministers
  • Must be willing to raise full financial support
  • Desirable that he/she have the ability to teach effectively
