Finance Analyst

Positions allocable to this class are assigned to the Finance and Investments Branch or Cash Management Division in the Department of Treasurer and Tax Collector, where they work under the technical and administrative direction of the Public Finance, Investments, and Defined Contribution Plan or Cash Management managers.

Working in coordination with other County departments and other governmental agencies within the County concerned with municipal borrowing programs, investment operations, or banking operations, Finance Analysts participate in the conduct of market analyses of financial data and other information and the development of recommendations regarding borrowing, investment, and cash management strategies.  In the Cash Management Division, Finance Analysts additionally may be required to supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate staff members.
