Human Resources Manager
This full-time Human Resources Manager position will manage and lead department-wide workforce development efforts to create employment and career advancement pathways for individuals while working closely with the recruitment team for the Department of Public Utilities. It will participate in department/divisional reorganizations; ensure proper utilization of class plan by analyzing position requirements and responsibilities; provides feedback regarding current and proposed content of class specifications; creates and oversees partnerships with external partners; supervises and manages professionals conducting workforce development activities for the department; meets with Divisions to maintain open communication channels with employees and managers by answering questions, explaining policies and procedure, and disseminating updated personnel related information.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional human resources experience in a human resources office, company, firm, or department. Substitution(s): A master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience. A valid driver’s license is required. The salary range for this position is: $40.80- $61.19/hr.
