Summer 2025 Dr. Anne Taylor (Experiential Learning)

So You Want To Be A Doctor?

Description: During the summer break you will have the opportunity to do a one-week shadow with a physician alum from Denison. Dr. Anne Taylor is a board-certified plastic surgeon. During this time, you will have exposure to patient care in a clinic, hospital, or a setting spanning multiple different medical conditions and procedures.

Dates available for internship summer 2025

Session one: May 19-22, 2025

Session two: August 4-7, 2025 

Application: Please upload your resume to Handshake which will be forwarded to Dr. Taylor. Please also include a document ranking the dates you are interested in. Students must be able to provide proof of vaccination and PPD and fill out appropriate confidentiality and liability materials.

Housing: Students must have their own housing and transportation and meals will be primarily at their own expense.

Research opportunity (optional): Students may elect to write an abstract or case report as a means of clinical research.
