
Engineering Intern
Primary role: Responsible for supporting strategic long-term water and wastewater system planning and recommending projects or approaches to address needs related to source of supply, treatment, storage, pumping and transmission of water as well as collection, equalization, and treatment of wastewater. Prepare or assist in the preparation of detailed asset investment plans considering the cost, timing, prioritization, operational need and risk. Responsibilities may also include project management, engineering design, and bidding, etc. on projects relating to various aspects of the business as well as the technical supervision over consulting project engineers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Research and collect asset records, operational information, engineering reports, and other information needed to characterize company facilities and equipment.
- Manage multiple projects and perform varied engineering assignments associated with planning, design or implementation.
- Contribute to effective communication by listening and asking questions, supporting the creation of an open and honest work environment.

Experience/Education:
- Current student's enrolled in an engineering program (Civil and Chemical preferred).
- Student's with leadership, club membership or previous work experience is preferred.
