The 2025 Ulta Beauty Internship is a structured 10-week program designed to develop future talent and provide interns with a unique and impactful development experience. This program is tailored for rising college Juniors and Seniors, offering both Corporate and Distribution Center Internship Tracks. The internship will be hybrid for corporate interns and in-person for Distribution Center interns. Interns will gain hands-on experience in Ulta Beauty’s operations while contributing to business needs, engaging in meaningful projects, and broadening their professional development. The internship program provides real-world experience directly related to academic discipline and career goals and offers a better understanding of career options.

With growing automation and technology, this agile team is at the forefront of our Distribution Centers driving efficiencies through labor optimization; and delivering results for the success of the business.
INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an intern, you will contribute to achieving the following goals:
- Partner strategically and cross functionally with Distribution Center and Supply Chain Operations partners to define and plan various continuous improvement initiatives such as: product flow optimization, best practice process improvement, and process automation.
- Support distribution safety initiatives. Develop improved methods, including evaluating new processes and/or procedures for a safe environment.
- Develop appropriate 5S schemes/layouts to support Distribution Center processes.
- Analyze and develop engineered standards utilizing MOST methodology and statistical analysis to improve productivity, accuracy, and the service level provided.
- Investigate problems, generate recommendations, and implement solutions based on the use of analytical tools.
- Develop skills in WMOS/WMS capabilities, specifically in terms of Labor Management.
- Manage the tracking and analysis of distribution Key Volume Indicators to better assess potential gaps and develop plans to address.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Individuals pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
- Experience in developing and implementing engineered work standards and Labor Management systems.
- Knowledge of data visualization software and CAD software (SQL, Power BI, AutoCAD).
- Ability to speak, present, work, and influence decisions to large and diverse audiences at various levels.
- Possess good working knowledge of all classical IE techniques including methods improvement, time and motion study, and process development.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with various levels of leadership.
- Demonstrate ability to perform analyses and identify solutions to resolve specific business needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited undergraduate university in the summer of 2025.
- Previous work experience and active involvement with on-campus organizations or activities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $25.00 / Hour. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also earn overtime pay as required by applicable law. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
