The 2025 Ulta Beauty Internship is a structured 10-week program designed to develop future talent and provide interns with a unique and impactful development experience. This program is tailored for rising college Juniors and Seniors, offering both Corporate and Distribution Center Internship Tracks. The internship will be hybrid for corporate interns and in-person for Distribution Center interns. Interns will gain hands-on experience in Ulta Beauty’s operations while contributing to business needs, engaging in meaningful projects, and broadening their professional development. The internship program provides real-world experience directly related to academic discipline and career goals and offers a better understanding of career options.

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an intern, you will contribute to achieving the following goals:

 

  • Collaborate with AI/ML team to design, develop and implement machine learning models for various retail uses cases like personalization, forecasting, sentiment analysis etc.
  • Support data collection, cleansing, preprocessing, model training and evaluation, contributing to the current projects to improve efficiency.
  • Assist AI/ML engineers during the analysis of large enterprise data from different retail domains and provide insights for future AI/ML developments.
  • Participate and contribute to brainstorming sessions aimed at identifying new opportunities for AI applications within enterprise data platform.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Individuals pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming skills in Python, including proficiency in Pandas and NumPy, Scikit-lean and TensorFlow/PyTorch and SQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP and Databricks.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
  • Open-source contributions or personal projects demonstrating technical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and documentation skills

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited undergraduate university in the summer of 2025.
  • Previous work experience and active involvement with on-campus organizations or activities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $25.00 / Hour. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also earn overtime pay as required by applicable law. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
