Border Internship Program
FSW’s summer internship program invites college and graduate students to:
1—Serve alongside our experienced partners who work arduously to provide hospitality and welcome to migrants.
2— Learn about immigration policy and advocacy.
3—Empower new networks of students to be advocates, storytellers, and witnesses of Fellowship Southwest's work of compassion and justice.
Where: Texas/Mexico border
When: Five weeks in the summer
It is a paid internship! Interns will receive a supplemental meal and travel stipend. Additionally interns will receive a modest ministerial stipend.
Interns will be required to attend a two day orientation before being sent off to their ministry site and a one to two day debrief meeting.
