Sponsorship Administrator
Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) welcomes candidates to apply for the new Sponsorship Administrator position. This position will be responsible for the district’s corporate sponsorships with a focus on our Mission, Vision and Values. A successful candidate will have experience with the principles, practices and procedures of fundraising activities. Previous experience in fundraising and corporate relations programs, sponsorship sales, and familiarity with practices and procedures used by nonprofit and government organizations are strongly preferred

The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Depending on operational needs, this position may require working early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and/or weekend hours.

Typical Job Functions:
Oversee and lead the development, implementation and on-going evaluation of the district's sponsorship strategy. Identify resources needed to meet program area strategy goals and objectives.
Establish, build and maintain corporate relationships, sponsorships, and naming rights sales and achieving revenue goals and performance targets
Establishes procedures and internal monitoring and reporting systems to assure effective program administration and compliance with local, state and federal reporting requirements.
Monitor sponsorship proposals following submittal to funding agencies; gather and provide additional information, as needed.
Work with THPRD's legal counsel, finance staff and funding agencies to negotiate contracts and collect funds.
Perform analysis, prepare documentation, formulate potential solutions and write reports and memos and prepare and make presentations to the board, committees and local jurisdictions, as assigned
Manage the corporate relations budget to reach monthly, annual, and long-term goals.

Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree with major course work in business, marketing, sales, public administration, non-profit management, marketing or related field and a minimum of five (5) years’ increasingly responsible experience in corporate relations/sponsorship sales, fund development, or related field is required. Preference for experience in park and recreation or other government agency.
