POSITION TASKS
Client Support
- Assisting with tax research and analysis, staying updated on the latest changes in tax laws, economic conditions, and political changes.
- Conducting financial analysis, preparing reports, and contributing to client presentations.
- Collaborating with team members to provide innovative solutions to complex financial challenges.
- Providing mergers & acquisitions support to entrepreneurs, including services throughout the entire process from buy/sell decisions and strategies, due diligence, critical transaction elements, closing assistance, and integration activities
- Working directly with clients to on business planning to achieve short- and long-term goals
- Implementing corporate operational assessments and process improvements
- Financial analysis and document review to support litigation services
- Providing financial management information by preparing advanced financial status analyses and written reports
- Communicating with clients to discuss financial and operational goals; explain proposed business plans and options; explain advantages and risks; and answer questions
- Monitoring clients' financial situation by tracking changes in wealth and life circumstances; analyzing financial plan results; identifying and evaluating new financial strategies; recommending changes in goals and plans.
- Updating job knowledge by tracking industry-specific economic conditions; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional and technical publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Accomplishing organizational goals by accepting ownership for new and varied projects; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Maintaining confidentiality of firm and client information
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 0-2 years of experience related to financial consulting and management
- Experience and understanding of government contracting and DCAA requirements preferred
- Ability to manage projects to meet internal and external deadlines
- Experience in our other niches a plus (construction, entrepreneurial growth, Healthcare, organizations, manufacturing, non-profit organizations, professional services, real estate, and IT)
- Experience working with a team to meet deliverables
