DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This internship will concentrate on the examination of perinatal hepatitis cases and the provision of care linkage information for pediatric practices. Additionally, responsibilities will encompass outreach to pediatric offices to identify infants who were exposed to Hepatitis C at birth, supplying essential resources and information to these practices, documenting health information, monitoring linkage to care efforts, and assisting with tasks such as database management and data entry.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- This internship will start in January 2025 and will continue for up to one year.
- Flexible hours, approximately 15 to 20 hours per week (20 is the maximum).
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Internship Requirements:
- Current full-time enrollment in a bachelor’s degree or advanced degree program.
- Good academic standing (as defined by a GPA of 2.0 or higher)
- Pennsylvania residency or enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or university
Additional Requirements:
- This position requires possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver's license that is not under suspension
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualification (not required):
- Graduate students preferred
