Graduate Level Clinical Mental Health Internship
SWMH is proud to serve as the bridge students cross between the classroom and professional world. Our practicum experience provides students a chance to become part of our organization, while educating them with new skill sets, practical experiences & networking within the industry.
Graduate Level Students will be exposed to a variety of services and experiences within a diverse population. These services include diagnostic assessments, functional assessments, level of care determination, case management and treatment of individuals, families and groups. Our program is designed to provide adequate levels of training in the following services for use in professional practice:
- Psychiatric Evaluation
- Medication Testing
- Psychological Testing
- Telephone, on site and Mobile Face to Face
- Mental Health Crisis Response Services
- Adult intensive Residential Treatment
Our program is designed to prepare interns with the roles and responsibilities of a clinical therapist in real world experiences.
Requirements:
- Enrolled in an accredited Master’s Level Program
- Complete supervised hours at agency location
